I like this photo too Sime - is it taken during a break in filming as I can't remember seeing Luca ever smile like that - and it looks like he is holding what could be a 'prompt-card', probably with some unpronouncable medical term written on it.

It's not a break in filming but from an episode (Get Carter?) when Carter shows up at the hospital with Kem in tow and breaks the news that she's in an interesting condition. Kem thanks Luka, saying that if it hadn't been for him she and Carter would never have met. Look at Abby - she's not smiling like the rest. This immediately precedes a little scene between Abby and Luka which demonstrates their comic timing perfectly.

Luka is holding a printout of the ultrasound Kem had that day, commenting that the baby is "handsome" to which Kem responds "Like his daddy" [well, takes all sorts - Mrs Eyre], and I think that is the moment captured here.

A: A waiter.

Yeah, I remember that scene. I believe he is holding the ultrasound picture in his hand.

That entire story arc with the Bishop make up my very favourite episodes of ER - in my opinion, they could not have played that out better in gifting us with Luka's story. James Cromwell and GV played against each other perfectly, and made the story completely believable.

I happened to luck out yesterday and caught the episode 'The Crossing' on TV - I almost never have the TV on at that time, and in fact, being a night person, I'm almost never even up at that time, lol, even though I only sleep 5-6 hours a night.

I love that pic of Luka and the Bishop. Well done! Thank you for sharing it.

No problem. I do not think they could have done the bishop story line any better, either. It played out perfectly! I was very satisfied with those episodes. And all the one's Goran is in period!!
