On August 3rd, "The Deep" will begin it's limited run on BBC1.

Lastly, it was announced yesterday that "Beginners" will make it's World Premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.

Breaking News on a new film project for Goran from Breaking Ball Films. "Kalahari" is a romantic dramedy set in the exotic Kalahari Desert. Award winning filmmaker Darrell Roodt ("Yesterday", nominated for Best Foreign Film in 2005)is set to direct with stars Saffron Burrows ("The Bank Job") and Goran. The film is scheduled for production in late 2010. Visit the "Kalahari " thread in the Newsroom on the Message Board for the story synopsis and updates on the film as we find them.

Good news for those of you who have been waiting patiently to see Goran's film "Helen". The DVD was released in Germany on May 28th, in Canada, July 27th, and on August 10th those of us in the US will have a choice of buying the film on either BlueRay or DVD. Watch for Goran with Carla Gugino in "Apocrypha", Andrei Zvyagintsev's segment for "New York, I Love You, it's part of the extras included on the newly released DVD". The segment does not appear in the earlier theatrical release.
